Comedian Kagiso 'Pope' Ramoshai dies in car crash

A Limpopo born actor, comedian, content creator and MC, Kagiso Ramoshai, better-known as “Pope” has died in a car crash.

Pope’s family confirmed this in a statement released by his brother Tshepo Ramoshai on Sunday morning.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kagiso “Pope” Ramoshai. In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space and time to congregate as a family,” said Tshepo.

Pope was involved in a car accident on the R71 while heading home from a famous pub at about 2am.

The actor who is known for jokes that brought laughter and smiles to the faces of his fans has left not only his family devastated but also the entire entertainment industry.
