Replying to this, Cena mentioned: “My process was very complex. You see, the name John Cena is not my real name. My name is Dick Hammer Bush, and it’s a very difficult government name to use because of the connotation it provides, so in thinking of a fake name, they thought of John Cena.”

The 16-time champion continued by saying: “Why don’t I use Dick Hammer Bush? Because that is just not who I am, I am John Cena.”

While the question doesn’t answer the actual question, it is always good to see Cena in a boisterous and fun mood, poking fun at the fans with his unmatched wit and charm.

Cena, whose real name is John Felix Anthony Cena, has mentioned in the past about using his actual name as it fit his persona when he entered the WWE. And fans know the kind of magic his name holds now in the entertainment universe. 

The 45-year-old megastar who was already a big name in WWE, has only launched himself further after transitioning to Hollywood. 

While the star was promoting his movie, Blockers, back then, he leaped beyond anyone’s expectations and established himself as a true actor and a bankable star. 2023, especially, has been one of the most fruitful year of his career, with him being a part of thundering blockbusters like Fast 10 and Barbie. The latter is on its way to the prestigious $1 billion mark at the box office.

With him having a solid lineup at the movies and frequent WWE returns around the corner, the brand, i.e., John Cena, will only grow exponentially more.
