The State alleges this was the first of the alleged bribes the former minister of sports, arts and culture received from former EOH executive Jehan Mackay.
On Wednesday, Kodwa and Mackay appeared in the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crime Court in Palm Ridge, charged with corruption.
