For the second week in a row, Tonga Loa’s expression told the entire story.

Jacob Fatu made his long-awaited WWE debut this week on SmackDown, rushing to Solo Sikoa’s aid before violently decimating Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. The climax of his assault came when he soared from the top rope and crashed through the announcers’ table, obliterating Rhodes with a devastating splash. After making such a thunderous impact, Sikoa embraced Fatu. Soon after, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa joined them in the ring.

As the Tongas entered, confusion and fear washed over their faces. They began to join Sikoa and Fatu in the familiar gesture of “throwing their ones to the sky,” symbolizing The Bloodline’s excellence. However, during the stable’s customary celebration, Loa noticeably kept his distance from Fatu, barely taking his eyes off the Samoan Werewolf. He timidly raised his index finger in solidarity, his unease palpable to viewers.

If Fatu’s savage attack wasn’t enough to deliver the message, the reactions by Tama and Loa — especially Loa — told the world that Jacob Fatu was not the one to mess with.

Loa’s reaction to Fatu’s debut raises questions about the newest member’s role within The Bloodline. It’s worth noting that when Sikoa embraced Fatu, Fatu did not hug him back. Instead, he maintained a rabid gaze, further cementing his ferocity.

For now, Sikoa seemingly remains the self-appointed Head of the Table. But those familiar with Fatu’s work outside of WWE know he has the personality to take charge of the group, especially with his menacing promos. Based on his presentation as a wild, raging menace, the former Major League Wrestling World Champion will serve as Sikoa’s primary enforcer.

Regardless, Loa’s response to Fatu’s debut intensified the significance of The Bloodline’s latest addition, highlighting Fatu’s commanding presence and the threat he poses. Last week, Loa perfectly sold an RKO by Randy Orton after sneaking up on him. As Loa approached, thinking he was getting the jump on Orton, The Viper drilled him with an RKO, which Loa sold with shock and terror.

As The Bloodline, under Sikoa, moves on without Roman Reigns, it will be intriguing to see what happens when Reigns, whom Sikoa claimed isn’t returning, makes his eventual comeback. The look on Loa’s face then may be one worth framing.
