There are Ireland debuts for Ulster back-row Cormac Izuchukwu and Leinster hooker Gus McCarthy whilst fly-half Sam Prendergast makes his first start. Jacob Stockdale makes his first start for Ireland since their World Cup warm-up match against Samoa in August 2023. Bundee Aki returns to the line-up after being left out of the squad against Argentina but there is still no Tadhg Furlong, who has yet to feature during this month’s action due to injury.
