Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram will face his legendary father Lilian’s former side Parma for the first time this evening.

When striker Thuram arrived at Inter, he came with a big family legacy to inherit.

Thuram’s father Lilian had spent a decade in Serie A between 1996 and 2006.

The iconic former France defender spent half his time in the division with Parma, and the other half with Juventus.

If anything, it was in Emilia-Romagna that Lilian Thuram truly showed his best form.

Marcus Thuram has already faced one of his dead’s old teams from Serie A a few times.

Inter and Juventus have met in the Derby d’Italia three times with Thuram lining up in a Nerazzurri shirt.
