A solid batting performance from India! It started a bit slowly as Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson took their time to adopt to the conditions but the latter was dismissed quite early. Then the skipper took matters in his own hands and played a few lusty blows but he too could not stick around for much long. It was then SKY and Rishabh Pant who looked like they were batting on a completely different surface and smashed it all around the park. Pant scored an excellent half-century and then retired out while SKY blasted 31 off just 18 balls. Shivam Dube struggled a bit out there but Hardik Pandya provided nice finishing touches with a smacking 40 off 23 to get India to a good total.
