World Cup-winning former Springbok lock Hannes Strydom passed away in a car accident on Sunday evening.
Strydom, 58, was a member of the Springbok team that won the 1995 World Cup in South Africa.
Netwerk24 reported on Monday morning that the accident happened on the N4 just before eMalahleni in the direction of Pretoria.
Strydom is the fifth member of the 1995 Springbok squad to have passed away.
Ruben Kruger, Joost van der Westhuizen, James Small and Chester Williams also passed on in recent years.
