The German national team will offer a tribute to the four players who retired from the 'Mannschaft' after the last Euro Cup: Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, and Ilkay Gündogan, before their Nations League match against the Netherlands.

Before the game, which will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, the iconic quartet will have the chance to bid farewell to the German fans. After the match, according to reports from Bild, there will be "a grand celebration."

The event will include the presence of family and friends of the former international players, and former national team members will also be invited, such as Oliver Bierhoff, former sporting director of the German Football Federation (DFB), and Joachim Löw, former national team coach.

A few weeks ago, the current DFB sporting director, Rudi Völler, hinted at the recognition ceremony, stating, "We will give our players a proper farewell and make sure the event has a pleasant and fitting atmosphere," as he mentioned in September.

The last match all four played for the 'Nationalelf' was in the Euro Cup quarterfinals, where Germany was eliminated in extra time by Spain, who went on to win the tournament.

This match also marked the final professional appearance of Toni Kroos, who retired from football after the continental tournament.
