According to Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie, Joslin SMith’s mom, Kelly, and stepdad, Jacquin Appollis, have passed their polygraph or lie detector tests.

This, amid speculation from the public that they were involved in the disappearance of the Saldanha Bay girl.

The politician facilitated the tests for the couple to “prove” their innocence.

JOSLIN SMITH’S MOM AND STEPDAD PASS LIE DETECTOR TEST

In a Facebook Live on Wednesday, 28 February, Gayton McKenzie told his followers that Joslin Smith’s mother, Kelly, and her partner – known as Boeta – had passed the lie detector test.

An unidentified PA member said during the lives stream: “They [Kelly and Boeta]  will be treated as victims until new evidence suggests otherwise.”

“Police are following up on all leads. DNA and forensic tests will be done. So far, nothing has proven them to be guilty of anything.

Meanwhile, Gayton McKenzie also revealed that they would be following up on new information about a possible lead around Joslin Smith’s disappearance.

During the Live, Gayton went on a wild goose chase to find several people who were in the house where Joslin was last seen.

“The truth will come out. I’m not going to take nonsense anymore”, assured the party leader.

He added: “We don’t need the cops, we’re going ahead”.

McKenzie appealed to authorities to dispatch more police to join in on the search.
