Galatasaray let a two-goal lead slip as they were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw against Latvian side Rigas FS in the UEFA Europa League.

The Turkish giants opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Belgian forward Dries Mertens got on the end of Mauro Icardi's header before tapping the ball past Fabrice Ondoa.

Former Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez put Yunus Akgun through on goal in the 38th minute, and he produced a calm finish to double Galatasaray's advantage.

However, Janis Ikaunieks reduced the deficit before the break to send Rigas FS into half-time 2-1 down.

Ikaunieks hit the crossbar with a header when the two teams returned, and Lasha Odisharia was the quickest to react.

He fired the rebound into the top-left corner to get his side back on level terms.

A stunning strike from Spanish international Pedro helped Lazio to a 4-1 win against Nice.

The former Barcelona and Chelsea star fired a thunderous left-footed shot into the top corner in the 20th minute.

Valentin Castellanos doubled Lazio's advantage, but Jeremie Boga scored just before half-time to keep Nice in the match.

However, Castellanos' second restored the Italian club's two-goal lead.

Mourinho's Fenerbahce draw against Twente

Dusan Tadic's superb second-half finish rescued a 1-1 draw for Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce against Twente in the UEFA Europa League.

The hosts took the lead in the 28th minute when Michel Vlap headed in Youri Regeer's looping cross.

However, Tadic got onto the end of a superb pass from former Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat before audaciously chipping the goalkeeper to get Mourinho's side back on level terms.

Two goals from former Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette helped Lyon to a 4-1 win against Rangers.

Belgian youngster Malick Fofana put the visitors 1-0 up in the 10th minute with a fine finish after a sublime run from Rayan Cherki.

Rangers got back on level terms when Tom Lawrence was the beneficiary of some sloppy Lyon defending.

However, Lacazette linked up with Fofana to restore his side's advantage.

The France international scored his second late in the first half with a stunning strike from distance.

Fofana made it 4-1 after the break with his second goal of the match.

Eintracht Frankfurt beat Besiktas 3-0.

The Bundesliga club were ahead in the 19th minute when Omar Marmoush scored from the penalty spot after drawing a foul in the area.

Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe doubled Twente's lead three minutes later from close range, and Ansgar Knauff added a third after half-time.

Inaki Williams and Oihan Sancet scored as Athletic Bilbao beat AZ Alkmaar 2-0.

Michael Baidoo's penalty helped Elfsborg stun Serie A side Roma with a 1-0 win at the Boras Arena.

Larne lose in UEFA Europa Conference League

Northern Irish side Larne fell to a 3-0 defeat against Norwegian giants Molde in the Europa Conference League.

Molde recovered from an underwhelming first-half display and took the lead in the 51st minute through Magnus Wolff Eikrem.

The hosts capped a much-improved second-half showing with their second goal when Ola Brynhildsen produced a fine finish from the centre of the penalty area.

Larne substitute Conor McKendry was sent off within minutes of coming on for a reckless challenge in the closing stages.

Frederik Ihler capitalised on the one-player advantage, scoring Molde's third in stoppage time.
