⚡ Quick Fulham - Chelsea tips Chelsea to win - 21/20 with bet365 Under 2.5 goals - 10/11 with bet365 Raheem Sterling to score or assist - 20/21 with bet365 Fulham vs Chelsea predictionsChelsea will hope that Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion proves to be a turning point.
True, it was only an EFL Cup tie. Brighton were not at full strength, although Chelsea made changes to their starting XI too.
The Blues only had 39 percent of possession and landed nine shots on Brighton’s goal, compared to 13 for the Seagulls.
Yet if we measure the quality rather than the quantity of those chances, Chelsea were worthy winners. They are now through to the fourth round of the competition, where they will face Blackburn Rovers in just over a month’s time.
However, Wednesday’s slender triumph over Brighton will be long forgotten if Mauricio Pochettino’s men come unstuck in this west London derby.
Just one of Chelsea’s six Premier League matches so far this season has ended with the Blues victorious.
They head into the weekend in 14th place in the table. By the time this match kicks off on Monday night, they will probably be even lower in the standings.
This was always going to be a transitional campaign for the club, but the idea was certainly not to be nine points adrift of the top four after half a dozen fixtures.
Chelsea have meetings with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Brighton and Manchester United coming up after the October international break, so their next two games against Fulham and Burnley are crucial.

Needless to say, the Cottagers would love nothing better than to compound the woes of their struggling neighbours.

Chelsea have had a tough start to the season but they are bound to improve at some point. Will their revival start here?
Chelsea to win - 21/20 (bet365)There is an argument that Chelsea are unfortunate to have won only one of their six Premier League games in 2023/24.
For one, their two draws and three defeats were all close games. Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa beat them by a goal to nil.
West Ham triumphed by a two-goal margin in August, but the third goal came deep into second-half stoppage time.
Chelsea also missed the chance to go 2-0 up in that match, as Enzo Fernandez failed to convert a penalty.

In the 1-1 draw with Liverpool and the scoreless stalemate against Bournemouth, Chelsea were the better team.
The underlying statistics suggest the Blues are indeed unlucky to be sitting on just five points.
If we rank all 20 teams by their expected goals (xG) difference - the quality of chances created minus the quality of chances conceded - Pochettino’s side sit fifth.
Of course, fashioning opportunities is just one part of the game. Finishing them off is another and Chelsea have fallen well short in that area.
But for the most part their performances have not been terrible. This could be the match in which Chelsea are finally rewarded.
⚽Back Chelsea to beat Fulham at 21/20 with bet365 ⚽
Under 2.5 goals - 10/11 (bet365)As the statistics above suggest, Chelsea have struggled to put the ball in the net up to now.

From an xG of 11.5, Pochettino’s men have scored only five goals. That represents by far the biggest underperformance in the division.
It is not necessarily something that Chelsea will be able to rectify immediately. Christopher Nkunku, one of the summer signings that elicited much excitement, is still out injured.
Even once he is fit, it could take a few weeks until the France international is at his sharpest.
Nicolas Jackson will miss Monday’s derby through suspension after picking up five yellow cards already.
That means Chelsea’s scorer against Brighton on Wednesday will play no part at Craven Cottage.
Fulham have also struggled for goals so far. They too have scored five - only Burnley and Luton Town, who both have a game in hand on the rest of the league, have been less prolific than these two teams.
Marco Silva’s side lost their talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic over the summer, as the Serbia international proved unable to turn down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.
Raul Jimenez was signed as his replacement, but the former Wolves frontman is past his best.
Fulham rank third-bottom of the xG table, so we should not expect a free-flowing, goal-laden affair on Monday.
⚽ Go for under 2.5 goals at 10/11 with bet365 ⚽
Raheem Sterling to score or assist - 20/21 (bet365)It will be interesting to see how Pochettino configures his forward line for this game.
Armando Broja is the most natural candidate to replace Jackson through the middle, but he has only recently returned from a serious knee injury and might not be ready to start.
Deivid Washington and Ronnie Stutter are young strikers on Chelsea’s books, but neither player was even in the matchday squad against Brighton.
Pochettino could be tempted to use the versatile Sterling through the middle. Whether he plays out wide or in a central berth, the former Manchester City forward will be central to Chelsea’s attacking threat.
Sterling has been bright in some of his appearances so far this season, and at odds close to evens this looks like a good value bet.
⚽ Tip Raheem Sterling to score or assist at 20/21 with bet365 ⚽
