Fulham FC 1 - 4 Wolverhampton Wanderers FC
17:10
Few fans - Wolves or not - would have predicted that scoreline at the start of proceedings. Wolves had a horrific record away from home and had only managed one victory so far this campaign. But they are now unbeaten in four consecutive Premier League matches, with two draws and two wins. They may have been sitting in 19th place before kick-off, but their attacking prowess has never been called into question, and they simply out-gunned Fulham today with more dynamism at the top end of the pitch. Cunha was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch and was a cause for Fulham concern throughout. His two goals and an assist mean he has now got 10 goal involvements for Wolves in their ipening 12 games. Fulham will be disappointed having led through Iwobi's beautiful strike on the 20 minute mark. As they threw on a host of forwards, Wolves expertly punished them with two late goals on the break. Wolves climb out of the relegation zone and onto nine points, sitting in 17th place. Fulham have dropped to ninth after today's games and remain on 18 points for the season.

Goal Matheus Santos Carneiro da Cunha
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:49
Wolves need to protect the ball better than that. An aimless punt from the back towards Larsen allows Bassey to out-muscle him and start another Fulham attack.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:49
Substitution Jean-Ricner Bellegarde Matthew James Doherty
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:49
Yet another Robinson cross from the left clears everybody with Muniz unable to get his right foot to it, Traore tries to pick it up and retrieve it on the right but as he cuts onto his left foot, he can't beat the first man.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:48
First chance for Traore to create tension in the Wolves defence, his trickery sees him creep towards the box and an attempted right-foot cross is put behind for a corner on the Fulham right.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:44
Wolves have played the better football this half. Fulham are having to resort to long, direct balls from defence to attack as time runs out.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:42
Andersen hobbles off to the side of the pitch. It is not clear whether he will return or not yet.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:42
Whilst play is halted, O'Neil holds court with his Wolves players, giving them instructions on the touchline. He will be desperate to hold onto what would be three invaluable points here.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:41
Fulham's Andersen is down in his own penalty area. The Physio is waved on.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:39
There is still time for Fulham to get something from this game but Wolves look dangerous on the break.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:35
WILSON OFF THE CROSSBAR! He nearly did it again for Fulham! Wilson picked the ball up around 25 yards out on the right. He assessed his options and struck a lovely left-footed shot that dipped as it headed to the top left corner, but it was a fraction too high and bounced off the top side of the crossbar. Good effort.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:33
Substitution Reiss Luke Nelson Adama Traoré Diarra
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:33
Substitution Kenny Joelle Tete Timothy Castagne
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:33
Substitution Raúl Alonso Jiménez Rodríguez Rodrigo Muniz Carvalho
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:32
Larsen attempts to turn his back into the defender, and as the clipped ball is tood up from the right wing, he goes for a spectacular overhead kick but the ball trickles off the back of the Fulham centre-back. Danger averted for Fulham. Can they get nack into this? Wolves are certainly not retreating back.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:30
Another strong challenge on Ait-Nouri from Tete sees him cautioned. It is not his first strong tackle and the offer of a hand up to the referee does not prevent him from receiving a yellow.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:30
Opening up now. Fulham break quickly with a long direct ball that looked to have Jimenez through but Sa acts as sweeper and clears the danger a long way out of his area.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:28
Substitution Andreas Hugo Hoelgebaum Pereira Thomas Cairney
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:28
HALF-TIME Fulham 1-1 Wolves
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:27
CUNHA CHANCE! Another run and attempt from Cunha who had close attention from two Fulham defenders and could not get his shot away. Corner to Wolves.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:24
CHANCE! A deflection from a ball through the Fulham defence manages to find Nouri up in an attacking area, but he could not take the ball past an advancing Leno and the bouncing ball allowed the keeper to use his height and take the ball from the head of the Wolves man.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:22
Substitution Emile Smith Rowe Thomas Cairney
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:22
Substitution Andreas Hugo Hoelgebaum Pereira Harry Wilson
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:20
NEARLY 2-2!! This is some game! Robinson again from the left wraps his foot around the ball and causes mayhem with his low zinging ball in. Jimenez just misses his connection and Nouri - attempting to clear smashes against his own bar with the keeper Sa well beaten.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:20
Yellow Card Andreas Hugo Hoelgebaum Pereira
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:15
Assist Matheus Santos Carneiro da Cunha
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:14
Good defensive play from Andre to thwart Nelson who was snaking this way and that down the Fulham left. He got his body in the way and shepherded out for a goal kick.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:13
Around the halfway line, a throw in to Wolves forward Larsen sees him win the flick-on, but nobody is running beyond him as he cuts a frustrated figure. He needs some support.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:12
Wolves keeping possession well in this second half. Joao Gomes, Andre and Cunha all playing accurate passes, but they have yet to make any inroads against Fulhams strong defence.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:10
A long curving pass from Tete at right back nearly releases Jimenez for Fulham but Sa was alert and cleared, both players collide but are okay.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:07
Both sets of players are back out for the commencement of this second period. Who - if anyone -will come out victorious? Fulham kick us off.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers16:02
Fulham - who have been in free-scoring form this season with Iwobi, Jimenez and Smith Rowe in particular proving pivotal - have not quite been at their flowing best this half, but nevertheless acculuated an xG of 0.82 in the first half. Wolves threatened on occasions too, mustering an xG of 0.68. Fulham are still considered favourites to win this encounter, with a current live win probability of 47.6%, whilst Wolves' chances of winning are rated at 19.8%.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:58
All square here then as both teams have shown plenty of appetite, at least in an attacking sense. Wolves came out with intent and purpose but it was Fulham who settled early on. They created a couple of chances before going ahead through a fantastic goal from Iwobi. He struck his shot with real finesse after finding space inside right, curling an unstoppable effort into the far left corner of the goal. It was cancelled out though just 11 minutes later as a plucky Wolves refused to let their heads drop. They got their reward through Cunha who seems to be involved in all that is good about the away sides' play. The attacker made a well-timed run beyond the Fulham back-line to get on the end of a brilliant Lemina through ball that was flighted just right. Cunha flicked past Leno to level.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:50
Yellow Card Calvin Chinedu Bassey
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:49
Four minutes to be added on here at the Cottage. we have played two and a half of them.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:49
Heart in mouth moment for Wolves as Lemina firstly gives the ball away cheaply in his own area, then, after a little shimmy by Robinson on the edge of the box, he plays the ball inside, and Nelson falls under pressure from Lemina, but the referee deemed it was too theatrical. That sums Lemina up. Great passer, but can be risky, especially playing in defence.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:46
Some frantic note-taking being made by Gary O'Neil as he prepares for his half-time team talk. He will surely be happy with his team's reaction to going behind.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:45
Cunha plays the ball off a Fulham body for a throw in deep into Fulham territory. Jimenez wins the ball and as he tries to break away down the right, he is pulled back. Free-kick Fulham in their own half.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:42
Iwobi forces a corner down the right with his persistence. Smith Rowe will take it. It is headed away by Larsen who is back helping out his team.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:41
The goal from Cunha is his sixth of the season in what is turning into a very good campaign for him despite his team's troubles.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:39
Semedo is the player down but he is now on his feet and will attempt to run it off, but he will have to go off first having had treatment on the pitch.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:39
Wolves have a man down here receiving treatment. Both sets of players are taking the opportunity to get some fluids on board after a quick tempo first half.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:39
R.Gomes should have done better there. He looked to have the beating of Tete down the left, but kept going and going and his ball in was too close to Leno who gratefully accepted the gift into his arms.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:35
The Wolves fans have found their voice, offering a rendition of 'Cunha' to the tune of 'Tequila'.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:32
Assist Mario René Junior Lemina
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:32
A promising passage of play for Wolves ends in frustration as Gomes' ball in from the left is not quite right for Cunha, who fouls Lukic in the process of trying to get the ball back.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:29
Big cheers from the home fans as powerhouse Bassey nurtures the ball out of play under the attention of Wolves forward Larsen.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:28
Wolves have failed to win when conceding in the last 16 games when they have gone behind in the Premier League. Not what O'Neil will have wanted to go behind so early.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:27
Wolves try to respond as Nouri attempts to penetrate the Fulham back line with a determined run, but the white shirts drown him out and it comes to nothing.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:26
Fulham turning it on now, Pereira with a sumptuous pivot and spin in the centre circle. He gave it to Jimenez who was hacked around 40 yards out. Free-kick Fulham, just off-centre, Pereira will deliver but Robinson can't keep his header down and it goes way wide of the target.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:22
Assist Kenny Joelle Tete
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:21
Goal Alexander Chuka Iwobi
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:20
HOW DID THAT MISS? Jimenez somehow crashes his shot against the crossbar when it looked easier to score!! Robinson was slipped in behind by Nelson, Robinson whipped the cross in just before it crossed the byline, Jimenez was all alone at the far post but his right foot shot rattled the bar. I think it is still shaking from the shot.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:18
Excited applause from Gary O'Neil who is trying to encourage his side from the sidelines.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:17
Fulham building up some pressure now, but it is a very open game so far. Just lacking that quality in the final pass at both ends.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:16
An inswinging Smith Rowe corner from the left causes some panic, but the bouncing ball is hooked clear by the Wolves defence.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:15
Fulham's Leno had his palms stung there by Joao Gomes who let rip with a right foot shot from just outside the area. Straight after, Nelson rampages down the other end down the left and forces a corner as he sees his cross headed behind by Nouri.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:13
End-to-end as a Wolves attack was thwarted from a deflected ball that gave Larsen hope. Fulham stole the ball and broke quickly but the final ball was also lacking for the home side.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:11
Semedo has a brief argument with the home ball boy who refuses to give him the ball he wants for the throw in.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:09
Lemina looks to be playing at the heart of a three-man Wolves defence. It will be interesting to see how the midfielder gets on playing at the back.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:09
Bassey slides in to cut out what looked to be a dangerous low cross after Semedo was set free galloping down the right wing.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:07
Talk about confidence, Sa comes out to take the ball and dribbles around Smith Rowe nonchelantly, much to the gasps of the away fans.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:06
A Fulham free-kick on the right with Pereira to swing it in. It is a good ball that is put behind by Cunha, who did not seem to know where he or the ball was. Another corner goes harmlessly wide from a Jimenez flick on. Goal kick.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:03
Ironic away cheers as a massively overhit Fulham pass sails out of play on half way.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:02
A frantic start as Wolves press hard in the Fulham half. They look fired up for this game.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers15:01
Wolves get us underway!
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers14:59
Captains Leno and Lemina lead the players out on a clear but crisp afternoon in London. The players are out, we're moments away from kick-off.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers14:34
Wolves make three changes from the win over Southampton. In come R.Gomes, Andre, and Bellegarde into the starting 11. Sarabia is excluded through injury, with Bueno and Dawson also missing out. It is a makeshift defence for Wolves who could be tested by this Fulham side this afternoon.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers14:30
Unsurprisingly, there are few changes for Fulham from the 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. In fact, the only change sees Lukic come in for Berge who is not even in the squad. One can only assume it is an injury to the Norweigan. Elsewhere Wilson can only manage a place on the bench despite his heroics in the past couple of games, scoring three in his last two matches.

Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers14:30
Wolves boss Gary O’Neil will have been mightily relieved to register a win against fellow strugglers Southampton in their last game. The match finished 2-0 with Pablo Sarabia and Matheus Cunha getting the goals. Cunha has netted in his last three away games and represents a major threat to the opposition having contributed to seven of the 16 goals his side have scored during this campaign. Only eight teams have scored more than Wolves in the Premier League, so the problems they have lay elsewhere. They have shipped 27 in 11 games so far, the most conceded by any topflight team this season, and if they are to improve upon their league position – where they currently sit in 19th place – they will have to address that conundrum.
Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers14:30
Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage hoping to continue their excellent form and pick up where they left off before the international break, with a three-game unbeaten streak propelling them to the dizzy heights of seventh place before today’s round of Premier League games. Adding playmaker Emile Smith Rowe to the ranks in the summer has undoubtedly added another attacking dimension to Marco Silva’s side, and the ex-Arsenal man was on the scoresheet last time out as they beat Crystal Palace 2-0. The other player on the scoresheet that day was Harry Wilson. The Welshman is in a rich vein of form himself having already singlehandedly turned the previous game against Brentford on its head, scoring twice in injury time to snatch a 2-1 victory from the jaws of defeat. With only one home defeat at the Cottage this season, and the opportunity to record three consecutive Premier League wins for the first time since January 2023, Fulham head into this game as strong favourites.
