JOHANNESBURG - Time to budget a bit more for holiday travel.
The AA says unaudited figures from the Central Energy Fund indicate fuel price increases for December.
Even though a decrease of around 7 cents a litre of 93-grade petrol is indicated, and a slight increase of 3 cents for 95-grade, adjustments to industry margins could inevitably mean an increase across the board.
Meanwhile, diesel motorists can expect a steep increase of around 48 cents per liter.
The outlook for the fuel prices can be attributed to fluctuations in the international product price, as well as the depreciation of the Rand against the US dollar.
