Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante will likely miss the upcoming first leg of the Europa League playoffs.

In the recent match against Inter, Cristante was forced to come off early on in the second half after experiencing painful back issues that prevented him from continuing the match.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian midfielder is expected to receive some rest in the next few days with Edoardo Bove ready to take his place in Roma’s starting line-up.

Against Feyenoord, Bove is favored to start alongside Leandro Paredes and Lorenzo Pellegrini.
