F1 standings

Max Verstappen has one hand on a fourth consecutive F1 drivers' title following a remarkable drive to victory in the São Paulo Grand Prix.

From 17th on the grid, Verstappen mastered the appalling conditions, and with his main rival in McLaren's Lando Norris only sixth, Verstappen has now stretched his advantage over the Briton to 62 points with 86 on the table.

That advantage may increase further as Norris is under investigation for a start procedure infringement.

In the constructors' championship, Verstappen's win has allowed Red Bull to close the gap on McLaren and Ferrari ahead of them.

Red Bull remains third, and is 49 points behind McLaren. The Woking team is 36 ahead of Ferrari.

With Alpine duo Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly finishing second and third for a 33-point haul, a team that had only scored 16 points before this race, has vaulted from ninth in the standings to sixth.

Check out the full standing following the São Paulo GP below!

However, please note they are provisional as there are numerous drivers under investigation, aside from Norris.
