The Gauteng government paid over R27 million to four companies, including businessman Edwin Sodi, for feasibility reports for constructing a school in Ekurhuleni that has yet to be built five years later.

The Gauteng government paid over R27 million to four companies, including businessman Edwin Sodi, for feasibility reports for constructing a school in Ekurhuleni that has yet to be built five years later.
Sodi's Blackhead Consulting received three payments from the Gauteng government that total R4 206 002 to construct a school in the poverty-stricken community of Barcelona in Ekurhuleni.
The remainder of the R27 million was paid to four other companies: AES Consulting, Andani Engineering, Kwena Monareng Investments and Pro-Plan Consulting.
