Viral Post Alleges Antony Starr Bullied Dominique McElligott On 'The ...

A post is going viral on social media in which an Instagram user, named Vought HQ, claims that actor Antony Starr had bullied co-actor Dominique McElligott on the sets of The Boys. The user, who is considered a leaker of The Boys TV show, said in a Question and Answer session with its followers that a former actor of the show revealed that Starr "regularly bullied" McElligott and behaved inappropriately with female guest stars.

The user, however, did not disclose the name of the actor who revealed this, saying that it was not appropriate to do so without their permission. Meanwhile, social media users who are deep into the fandom of The Boys took the accusation very seriously, and it started going viral. However, X added a reader's added context to the tweets, saying that the screenshot being circulated is undated and the claims do not have any credible evidence. It says that both are easy to fabricate and hence cannot be taken at face value.

"#TheBoys leaker Vought HQ posted on their private Instagram that Antony Starr is abusive on set and bullied Dominique McElligott and other female actress’s. He bullied Dominique so much that she left the industry. All of this being covered up by the show runners," one user wrote.

"So Antony Starr bullied Dominique McElligott on the set of The Boys and she left the industry due to this. And Amazon is threatening the person who leaked this info," another said.

"We'll need a lot more proof before we suddenly believe "Insert random Reddit name" on something like this, Also as someone who has watched Dominique McElligott on a lot of her TV appearances she gets bored of roles very quickly, and never lasts longer than 2-3 seasons on a show????‍♂️," said one.

According to a report by the New Zealand Herald, Starr had assaulted a young chef at a pub in Alicante. The actor was intoxicated at the time of the alleged assault and reportedly punched the 21-year-old chef twice. Some reports said that the actor smashed a glass on the chef's face, however there is no concrete evidence to substantiate that. The report also stated that the chef was taken to hospital and received four stitches above the eye.
