Those five goals have all been against the same opponents, Crystal Palace - and he was very close to a sixth too!

Wilfried Zaha in the crowd this evening!

Wilfried Zaha is in the directors' box this evening.

The former Palace winger left just over a year ago on a free transfer after his contract expired but still has business in Croydon. Alongside rapper Stormzy, he is the owner of AFC Croydon Athletic, a non-league side based locally.

Next to him in the directors' box is Danny Young, the interim chairman and third owner of the club.

We wrote about their rise and story very recently - check it out below.

HALF-TIME: Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal

That's the break!

Still something in the game for Crystal Palace, they might feel.

But Arsenal have a two-goal advantage at the break.

Arsenal go close again!

45+4' Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal

Arsenal are humming in attack.

They drive forwards again, sprint towards the byline and pull it back... cleared, just about, and Tyrick Mitchell eases Gabriel Martinelli out of the way then blocks the follow-up shot.

Martinelli flops over dramatically, he and Havertz appeal for a penalty. Absolutely nothing in it. Checked and cleared by VAR.

Five minutes added on

45+2' Crystal Palace 1-3 Arsenal

We are into the second of five minutes added on at the end of the first half here.

Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya, who was warned by the referee earlier in the match for time-wasting, waits until the referee's back is turned before moving the ball from one side of his six-yard box to the other.

It goes unpunished again. Wonder how Mikel Arteta would react if another team did that to Arsenal.

That goal should calm Arsenal down

3-1 Arsenal.

That cushion should help settle them down as Palace have been disrupting their build up really well.

Martinelli driving to the line and getting that cross in an advantage of him moving to the right wing.

How Havertz extended Arsenal's lead

Crystal Palace fans were delighted as Maxence Lacroix sprinted back really well to slide in on Gabriel Jesus inside the box and put it behind for a corner.

But the danger was far from over...

Gabriel beat Dean Henderson, who was nowhere, in the air and nodded it against the bar. Again, Palace weren't safe yet.

Martin Odegaard had too much time and space outside the box to play it out to the right, it was a lovely ball stood up by Gabriel Martinelli, I think. Jesus rose highest and nodded it against the inside of the post.

Brilliant effort. A lick of paint away from another hat-trick against Palace, three days after his last. Kai Havertz followed it in and shinned in the rebound. He celebrates calmly with the ball under his shirt.

He wasn't offside. Too easy for Arsenal!

GOAL! Arsenal extend their lead via Kai Havertz!

So nearly a hat-trick for Gabriel Jesus! But Arsenal do have another via Kai Havertz!

It's the German's sixth of the season.

Two Arsenal players into the book

Gabriel received a yellow card a few minutes ago for hauling down Ismaila Sarr, who had turned past him really well. Sloppy from the Brazilian.

Then Jurrien Timber was booked too after taking ages to take a throw-in and stealing yards.

Another Palace chance to tell you about

31' Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal

Half an hour gone and the game has slightly slowed down a bit, so I can tell you about another great Crystal Palace chance from a while back when play was much quicker and more chaotic.

William Saliba, who has looked shaky so far, was robbed just outside his own area and Ismaila Sarr had the chance to drive forward at goal.

Rather than dribbling or choosing to shoot, Sarr instead played it inside to Mateta, who must have thought he was offside, as he was hesitant in controlling it and his first touch was poor (although the pass was overhit).

David Raya raced out to smother the shot with his legs. It was a massive opening for Palace.

Palace getting frustrated

27' Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal

It's been a frustrating first half so far for Crystal Palace, who have played well but find themselves down after conceding twice in the first 15 minutes and only two minutes after equalising.

Fans booed as David Raya only received a warning for early time-wasting, Maxence Lacroix had strong words with Saka as he felt the winger was taking his time in walking off the pitch.

Moments ago, Havertz fouled Sarr who shot, before the ref stopped a promising attack for a 'head injury' for Gabriel. The ref is obliged to stop the match for potential head injuries but Gabriel was up and fine very quickly after play was stopped.

Cynical.

How Saka will be replaced

Gabriel Martinelli has come across to take Saka's role on the right, with Trossard playing from the left.

Arteta has chosen to keep Gabriel Jesus through the middle - and in this form, who can blame him?

Arsenal look really sloppy at the back!

Moments before Palace's equaliser, they nearly scored as goalkeeper David Raya, under pressure, played a dangerous straight pass looking for a team-mate from inside the box.

Will Hughes was there waiting to pounce and slid in, but the ball dropped narrowly wide of goal.

Raya was very lucky. Palace were unfortunate.

Yep, Bukayo Saka is off with an injury.

He put his hand up to signal his issue after crossing it from the right.

Former Brighton player Trossard is booed as he comes on in Saka's place.

Leandro Trossard getting ready

There was a rueful shake of the head from Bukayo Saka as soon as the physio came on to treat him.

Bukayo Saka down injured...

Concern for Arsenal now as star man Bukayo Saka is down injured.

Think he'll have to come off here...

Arsenal profit from another corner

That’s now six more goals from corners the any other team in Europe the past two years.

Teams still don’t know how to deal with those balls to the back post but Jesus’s goal a reminder of the work Arsenal do on the phases after the initial delivery.

Poor defending from Arsenal for Palace leveller

That was so passive from Arsenal. Very unlike them.

The ball out wide left was too easy but Partey and Saliba left a huge hole in the middle of the pitch and the latter didn't confront Sarr, who curled it past Raya.

Sarr a man transformed for Palace

Ismaila Sarr has been transformed recently.

His form has been fantastic and he deserved that goal to make it 1-1.

A brilliant finish and that is what confidence does to an attacking player. He has also finally adjusted and become fully fit after not earning many minutes at the start of the season.
