CROCS is expanding its Pixar line with a new shoe modeled after Mater from Cars.

The Mater Crocs will join the Cars line, which also includes an adult version of the Lightning McQueen Crocs.

The Mater Crocs are a new collaboration between the clog brand and Disney's Pixar.

Based on the loveable Radiator Springs tow truck, the clogs feature Mater's iconic exposed engine on the front and his signature towing hook in the back.

They will be in a rustic brown color that mimics Mater's rusty appearance.

Crocs announced the newest Pixar collab on October 16, 2023, in a social media post.

"Someone call Towing & Salvage? Mater Crocs coming tomorrow BEEP BEEP!" the company wrote.

In a follow-up post, the brand said that the shoes would be released the following day, on October 17.

The Mater Crocs are expected to cost consumers $60 and will be available for purchase on the company's website.

Since the drop was first announced, several consumers have flocked to the comments section to express their excitement.

Along with partnering with Disney's Pixar, Crocs has also released shoes inspired by Star Wars, Shrek, Barbie, Hello Kitty, Marvel, and Harry Potter, among other things.

Cars was released in 2006 and had a star-studded cast, led by Owen Wilson, who voiced Lightning McQueen.

Wilson was joined by Larry the Cable Guy, who voiced Mater.

Larry, real name Daniel Lawrence Whitney, is a stand-up comedian, actor, and radio personality from Pawnee City, Nebraska.

He first rose to fame in the early 2000s after debuting on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour alongside Bill Engvall, Ron White, and Jeff Foxworthy.

When he's not on stage or reprising his iconic role, Larry can often be found at home, spending time with his wife, Cara Whitney, and his son, Wyatt.
