Tigers Squad Release vs QLD

The Tasmanian Tigers male program have named their fourth Sheffield Shield squad of the season for the 2024-25 Australian Domestic Cricket Summer.

13 players have been named in their squad for a Sheffield Shield encounter at Allan Border Field against Queensland starting on Friday.

Beau Webster

Gabe Bell comes out of Tasmania's squad against Western Australia following the birth of his first child earlier this week. 

Beau Webster returns to Shield cricket after representing Australia 'A' over the past two weeks, and Tim Ward also returns to the squad after strong performances for University CC in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League. 

Iain Carlisle, Nick Davis, Will Prestwidge, and Mac Wright are all working towards a return to cricket after injuries delayed the start to their domestic cricket season. 

Nathan Ellis is unavailable for selection as he is representing Australia in the T20 Series against Pakistan this weekend, with the deciding match being held in Hobart on Monday.
