Piet Wiersma wins 2024 Comrades Marathon

PIETERMARITZBURG - Piet Wiersma from the Netherlands has won the men's 2024 Comrades Marathon.

He crossed the finish line in 5 hours and 25 minutes.

Wiersma beat out South Africa's Dan Moselakwe.

He says he will be back next year.

Wiersma said he felt strong from the start.

"It was a good race," he said.
