Not only has tennis phenom Coco Gauff made rapid improvements in her game, but the American is also reaping the financial benefits of her sublime performance on tour over the past few weeks.

Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final of the 2023 US Open, clinching her maiden Grand Slam title in the process. The 19-year old resumed her dominance on the WTA tour, as she battled from the brink of defeat to overcome Petra Martic at the ongoing China Open.

Latest victory sees Gauff surpass $6,000,000 in prize money for 2023 season

Following her victory over Martic, Gauff is set to break the $6 million mark for prize money on the WTA circuit. The American sits second on the top-earners list for 2023, with $5,557,372. World No.1 Sabalenka currently sits at the top of that list, having raked in $7,369,635.
