The Kansas City Chiefs advanced their regular season record to 8-0 by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a Super Bowl LV rematch on “Monday Night Football.”
Though Kansas City’s performance was defined by the efforts of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and newly acquired wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who combined for two touchdowns in the primetime matchup, it was running back Kareem Hunt who made the game-winning play in overtime.
Mahomes marched the Chiefs’ offense downfield after Kansas City won the overtime coin toss, and when Hunt was handed the ball near the end zone, he wasted no time dealing the final blow to the Buccaneers.
Check out this video of Hunt’s game-winning touchdown, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

Hunt rushed for 106 yards on 27 attempts against Tampa Bay and was among Kansas City’s most impactful contributors.
Stay tuned to see if Hunt can replicate this outstanding performance in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.
