Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Efmamjjasond González scored his first goal for over a year as Real Santa Cruz earned a point away from home.
González spent almost a year in South Africa on loan at Chiefs from Santa Cruz. Amakhosi opted against extending the striker’s deal to a permanent one as he was never convincing in his short spell at the club.
He returned to his mother club Cruz right after his one-season contract expired with Chiefs. The 24-year-old scored in his first game for Cruz from the penalty spot to earn them a point away from home.
