British-American actor Chance Perdomo, best known for his role in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, has died at the age of 27.

A Perdomo representative confirmed to People that he died in a solo motorcycle accident.

"His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest," his family said in a statement to the publication.

"We ask to please respect the family's wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother," the statement ended.

Details of the accident, including where it had occurred and what caused the crash, have not been revealed.

Perdomo's most recent role was Andre Anderson in the action-comedy Gen V, a Prime Video series and spin-off of The Boys.

According to Deadline, production of the second season has been delayed following Perdomo's death.

The show's producer said in a statement: "We can't quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and, more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person. Even writing about him in the past tense doesn't make sense.

We are so sorry for Chance's family, and we are grieving the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.

"The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Chance Perdomo. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance's family and all who loved him at this difficult time," Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television added.

According to BBC, Perdomo studied law after completing school and began his acting career in 2017 in the CBBC series Hetty Feather.

In 2019, he was named among the Baftas Breakthrough Brits for his roles as warlock Ambrose Spellman in Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Perdomo also starred in the last three films of the After franchise: After We Fell, After Ever Happy and After Everything.

One of his final projects is the indie film Bad Man, which wrapped up filming in February. The film, which also stars William Scott, Johnny Simmons, Rob Riggle, Andre Hyland, and Lovi Poe, is inspired by a true story.

"Excited to see #badman taken to market. Somewhere, there's a 5-hour cut of just bloopers. @mikediliberti, thanks for the trust. The shoot was one for the books," Perdomo wrote in an Instagram post about the film.
