Hansi Flick's team have hit a rocky patch either side of the November international break with just one point gained from their last two La Liga matches,

A return to domestic action this weekend only yielded a 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo as Flick's team allowed a two-goal lead to slip in the final minutes.

That has handed a major title boost to rivals Real Madrid who can close the gap on the leaders to a single point if they win their two games in hand.

Flick has plenty to ponder ahead of Barcelona's fifth game of this season's new league format in the Champions League with nine points on the board.

However, despite the overall positivity of gaining a favourable result against their French visitors, Flick will once again be without star winger Lamine Yamal.

The 17-year-old missed Barcelona's last two games, and international duty with Spain, due to an ankle problem.

Barcelona's dip in form has mirrored his absence and highlighted his growing importance to Flick's plans.

However, despite optimism over the teenager being ready to face Stade Brest, reports from Diario AS indicate he will miss out.

Lamine Yamal remained in Barcelona and watched the Celta Vigo draw at home as he continues to suffer pain in his ankle.

Maximum caution will be taken in his recovery and he will be assessed again ahead of the home league tie with Las Palmas on November 30.
