Chelsea put their sluggish start behind them on Monday night as they registered a much-needed second win of their Premier League campaign. A short trip in west London saw them take on Fulham at Craven Cottage, which would have proven a difficult test for most teams.
For the Blues, it was a match that provided opportunity and one that their youthful squad took with both hands. A quick start saw a couple of big chances missed early on, but unlike previous games, they weren't made to pay for their inability to finish.
Instead, they pushed on and forced more chances, with Mykhailo Mudryk finally scoring his first in Chelsea colours since making the big-money move back in January. A second was required for more comfort in the game and the away side got just that as Armando Broja profited from a Tim Ream error to double the lead.
The rest of the match played out in relative ease, with a few opportunities to extend the lead, but it was a two-goal cushion they settled on. It moves the Blues up to 11th and with the run of fixtures to come, they will be hopeful that it's a solid foundation to build from.
A return to the Champions League is still possible, with plenty of games left in the campaign, and that will certainly be the aim. So with that said, here's a look at Chelsea's fixtures and how they compare to their rivals in the chase for a top four finish come the end of the season.

Burnley (A) - October 7
Next up is a trip to Turf Moor to face Vincent Kompany's Burnley, who are yet to register a win in the Premier League this season and sit in the relegation zone. The Clarets will no doubt be looking to cause problems for a Chelsea side that have been far from prolific on their travels.
Arsenal (H) - October 21
It doesn't get much bigger than a London derby, with Chelsea hosting fierce rivals Arsenal after the upcoming international break. The Gunners have had an unbeaten start to their season so far and sit third in the table, taking five wins and two draws from their opening seven games.
Brentford (H) - October 28
Another clash in the capital is on the cards as Brentford are the next London team to make their way to Stamford Bridge in the league. The Bees have just one win to their tally so far this season, registering seven points, but their counter attacking style can make them a tough opponent.
Tottenham (A) - November 6
A triple serving of London derbies is finished off with a trip to Tottenham, who have been revitalised under new boss Ange Postecoglou. Spurs find themselves second in the league after a couple of late winners in recent weeks and their intense play style will make for an enticing and entertaining clash.
Manchester City (H) - November 12
Rounding off the next five league fixtures is a home tie with champions Manchester City as they look to seal yet another league title. Pep Guardiola's side have been far from their fluent best after defeat in the league and cup over the past week, but still find themselves leading the rest of the division.
