- Michał Helik and Ben Wiles come into the side

Huddersfield Town Head Coach André Breitenreiter has made two changes to the team for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game against Cardiff City; 7.45pm kick-off at the Cardiff City Stadium.

After scoring as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Leeds United last time out, Michał Helik (pictured) completes his return from his recent ankle injury by starting this evening. In doing so, Helik is making his 150th appearance in the Sky Bet Championship.

He takes the place of Yuta Nakayama, who is ruled out with the knee problem he sustained in Saturday’s game.

Our second switch sees Ben Wiles come into the team for his first start under Breitenreiter. The former Rotherham United man replaces the suspended Jonathan Hogg.

With Hoggy absent, the returning Helik captains the side tonight.

Sorba Thomas makes his 100th start for the club in all competitions this evening, whilst Danny Ward faces one of his former sides; he played 69 games for the Bluebirds between 2017 and 2020.

Ben Jackson and B Team midfielder Tom Iorpenda take the two vacated spaces in the match day squad.

Breitenreiter is without Josh Ruffels (groin), Jonathan Hogg (suspended), Ollie Turton (knee), Kian Harratt (suspended), Radinio Balker (quad), Yuta Nakayama (knee), and Rhys Healey (groin)
