Cape Town City star praises Manyama
Cape Town City player Taahir Goedeman and his teammates are different footballers these days, thanks to Lebohang Manyama.
CAPE TOWN CITY PLAYER GOEDEMAN SALUTES MANYAMAIt’s been a few months since Manyama left Johannesburg to become Eric Tinkler’s assistant coach. Manyama arrived in Observatory to do particular work.
According to the Cape Town City player Goedeman, Manyama is one of the major reasons the club have been in second place on the log.
“He talks a lot with me and like, he always tells me like, ‘Don’t be so hard on yourself. The next one is going to come, the next one is going to come'” Goedeman said via iDiskiTimes.
“So he really had a big, big impact on the attackers, especially after the training, doing extra hours, and calling this one to have a chat with him. So I think Lebz is really the person that we needed in the attacking force. He really helps the attacking guys,” the 24-year-old Cape Town City player concluded.
NEXT MATCHEric Tinkler’s side have lost second place, thanks to Orlando Pirates’ thrilling 3-2 win over Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby on Saturday.
In the meantime, Goedeman and his teammates will be in action this evening. The Citizens take on Royal AM at the Harry Gwala Stadium at 17:30.
