Yoane Wissa continued his clinical start to the season with a brace in Brentford's 3-2 comeback win over Bournemouth.

The away side were gifted an opener when Sepp van den Berg played a loose pass back to Mark Flekken, which Evanilson pounced on before rounding the goalkeeper and rolling the ball into an empty net.

Just 10 minutes later Brentford were on level terms when in-form striker Wissa headed home from a long throw-in, but shortly after half-time Bournemouth restored their lead through Justin Kluivert, who finished off a clever corner routine with a thumping finish at the near post.

The South Coast side could only hold on to their lead for a minute this time, as Mikkel Damsgaard found space between Kepa Arrizabalaga and the near post with a cute finish from a tight angle for 2-2.

Brentford led for the first time when Wissa grabbed his second on the hour mark, running onto Vitaly Janelt’s pinpoint through ball before delicately clipping the ball over Arrizabalaga.

Wissa has now scored seven goals in eight Premier League games this season, the same number as Cole Palmer and Mohamed Salah.

Harry Wilson came off the bench to score his third goal in two matches as Fulham overcame a struggling Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park.

For the second time in the space of six days, Wilson came off the bench to secure all three points for Marco Silva’s side after his heroics against Brentford on Monday.

Emile Smith Rowe put Fulham ahead on the stroke of half-time with his third goal of the season. He snatched the ball from Maxence Lacroix on the halfway line and found Raul Jimenez, who returned possession before Smith Rowe steered an effort past Dean Henderson.

The 24-year-old thought he had doubled The Cottagers’ lead shortly after the break when he finished a silky move between former Arsenal team-mates Reiss Nelson and Alex Iwobi, but he was ruled to be marginally offside by VAR.

Fulham pushed for a second, which they struggled to find until Palace were reduced to 10 men when Daichi Kamada was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge on Kenny Tete.

With the player advantage, Fulham doubled their lead as super-sub Wilson - who scored two late goals in a dramatic win over Brentford - came off the bench and made an instant impact to wrap up the points for the visitors.

Wilson thought he had scored back-to-back braces when he popped up with another goal, but Fulham’s celebrations were quickly cut short when VAR ruled it out for handball.

Fulham, who have won their last two and are unbeaten in three, are up to seventh in the Premier League table while Palace drop closer to the relegation zone in 17th.

Both Julen Lopetegui and Sean Dyche came into the weekend’s action under pressure as West Ham United and Everton look to turn their fortunes around after a tough start to the season.

The west Londoners and Merseyside club are both hovering above the relegation zone, but neither could take advantage of each other's poor form as they played out a goalless draw at the London Stadium.

It was a relatively uneventful match, until West Ham piled the pressure on Everton in the second half, only for Jordan Pickford to keep The Toffees alive.

The England goalkeeper frustrated the home side and especially Hammers striker Danny Ings, who had two chances saved.

Crysencio Summerville also had a chance to break the deadlock, and on this occasion Pickford was beaten, but the winger’s one-on-one effort crashed off the post.

Everton are now winless in three, while West Ham have not tasted victory since they triumphed over Manchester United.

Matheus Cunha fired Wolverhampton Wanderers to their first win of the season over Southampton, as Russell Martin’s side suffered their fifth league defeat in six matches.

Wolves only needed two minutes to break the deadlock, when Cunha’s driving run through the midfield was finished off by Pablo Sarabia, who latched onto the Brazilian’s through ball before slipping past Aaron Ramsdale and slotting home.

Ryan Manning thought he had levelled for Saints 10 minutes later, but his scrappy effort was ruled out by VAR for a foul in the build-up.

Things became much tougher for Martin and Southampton when Cunha registered his fifth goal of the campaign with a stunning strike from 30 yards to double the hosts’ lead.

The home side held on for an important victory after a tricky start under Gary O'Neil, but they still remain in the drop zone by a point.
