Scotland international Lewis Ferguson is expected to start for Bologna in an away Champions League match against Benfica this evening.
It kicks off at 21:00 CET (19:00 GMT) at the Estadio Da Luz in Lisbon.
Both Bologna left-backs Miranda and Lykogiannis are injured; therefore, Vincenzo Italiano will start Lucumì on the left, and Beukema and Erlic in central defence.
Thijs Dallinga is expected to get the nod in attack, while Ferguson will start as an attacking midfielder, joining Ndoye and Iling-Junior behind a sole striker.
Orsolini and Aebischer are also unavailable for the Rossoblu.
Ex-Roma midfielder Renato Sanches is injured for home side Benfica, while former Juventus star Di Mario will start as a right winger.
Bologna have only earned one point in the Champions League and have less than a 2% chance of qualifying for the knockout round play-offs.
