RONNOW GETS AWAY WITH ONE!
Goretzka unleashes a really tricky shot which swerves and bounces just in front of the Union goalkeeper, who palms it into Musiala's path but does just enough to dive in with his feet and get to the ball before the 20-year-old.
Bayern have really threatened at the end of the first half.
SANE'S SHOT FLASHES WIDE!
Musiala finds Sane on the right and once again the German cuts in on his left, not once but twice, before rifling an effort across Ronnow's goal.
That's the closes Bayern have come to an opener.
We're into added time at the end of the first half and Union will be delighted going into the break all square, if they can hang on.

Upamecano will carry on for now, even though he looked in real pain at one point. Risky stuff from the hosts but maybe they're hanging on until half-time.

Musiala produces some brilliant footwork down the right flank and combines with Kimmich, but is flagged offside when the midfielder returns the pass.
He's only touched the ball 17 times so far and hasn't had a sniff at goal yet.

Kane has scored 22 goals in the first 16 games in the first half of this Bundesliga season. If Kane also scores against Union, he will set a new record for the most goals in the first half of a Bundesliga season and overtake Robert Lewandowski, who scored 22 times for Bayern in the 2020-21 season.
ANOTHER EFFORT FLASHES WIDE
Laimer drives down the right flank and pulls back a cross for Guerreiro who is in loads of space as the full-backs combine, but Guerreiro's effort is wide.
It's important Bayern don't get frustrated here. They've dominated Union so far and all the action has been in the visitors' half, but Tuchel's side are finding it tricky to get through their stubborn defence

COMAN GUIDES THE BALL WIDE
Guerreiro squares a ball from the left which Coman manages to get on the end of with his left boot, but can't really get any purchase on the ball as he sends it to the left of the near post.
A POSITIVE START FOR BAYERN
They've had six attempts in a fairly dominant opening 20 minutes. They came closest through De Ligt (twice) and look a real threat from corners.
Union are making themselves difficult to break down, though, and Bayern might need to be patient as they look to find an opener. Kane isn't getting much joy.
