Bafana Bafana and Nigeria have to conquer two tough opponents on Friday if they are to give their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign the kiss of life it needs following a disappointing start.
The first opponent they face is an "easy" one: it will be the team they will square off against at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday night (at 21:00 SA time)) in their third match of the World Cup qualifiers.
The Super Eagles have had a dismal start, drawing against Zimbabwe and Lesotho to put them at just two points in a group Nigerians thought they would easily top –- with Benin and Rwandwa completing Group C.
