Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus have both been brought into the starting XI for our meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk at Arsenal Stadium.

Jesus takes the captain’s armband as he comes in for his fourth start of the season, while Martinelli is also back in the starting lineup. Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling are the two that drop out from Saturday’s side that faced Bournemouth.

David Raya therefore continues in goal behind the same back four of Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori.

Thomas Partey and Declan Rice are in midfield again, with Kai Havertz starting up front. The German is looking to become the first player ever to score in eight consecutive games at Emirates Stadium.

Other than that there are no changes to the squad, meaning no return from injury yet for the likes of Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber.

As for the visitors, Shakhtar come into the game with just one point from their opening two games. They make three changes to the side that lost 3-0 to Atalanta last time out.
