Through her role at Arsenal in the Community, Billie continues to make a significant impact on the development of women’s football within the club, encouraging and inspiring young girls in football.

Previous members of our club recognised in the Football Black List over the years includes Celia Facey, Beverley Nicholas and Rachel Yankey.

Billie first joined Arsenal in the Community as a volunteer coach on the Arsenal Community Coach Development Programme. She threw her all into the programme, developing a lot as a coach and making a real impact on the groups she worked with across our range of community projects.

She then progressed on to a sessional coach role, delivering on our PL Primary Stars Programme, and in September 2023 secured a full-time position as Arsenal in the Community's Women and Girls Coordinator.

Since joining Arsenal in the Community as the Women & Girls Coordinator, Billie has made a significant impact on the development of women's football within the club. Her notable achievements include starting the U9 Girls League at the Arsenal Hub, and collaborating closely with local clubs to inspire and support young girls in football.

Billie consistently creates a warm and welcoming environment for participants, ensuring that they thoroughly enjoy the game. Her efforts extend beyond the pitch, creating pathways into sessions and teams through her delivery in local primary schools. Billie is not only a respected member of the team but also a joy to work with, embodying the values and dedication that contribute to the success of women and girls’ football at Arsenal in the Community.
