Actor

Mukesh Rishi

, who gained popularity in the 1990s for portraying the main antagonist in multiple Bollywood movies, recently shared details about his career and life as a villain in Hindi movies. Mukesh also talked about the time he worked with

Salman Khan

in ‘Judwa’ and

Amitabh Bachchan

on ‘

Lal Baadshah

’.
During a conversation with Radio Nasha, Mukesh talked about Big B and revealed that, despite being the most experienced actor on the set, Amitabh gave his time and made him feel at ease when he misplaced his lines during a take.

He was all praises for the superstar for his humble gesture on the sets of ‘Lal Baadshah’.
He shared, “In Lal Baadshah, there was a father and son role with Amit ji. There is a scene where some people are chasing me and I am the police officer. I am running, and people are running behind me. Here, it was like I had arrested the Lal Baadshah and people were angry, so they were behind me and that’s when someone extends their hand and catches me. That is Amit ji, who played the Lal Baadshah’s father’s role. I saw that and I had to say a few lines which were initially not given to me. So I, very innocently told Big B, ‘Give me two minutes…’ and he said, ‘Aaraam se kijiye (take your time).’ So I took my time and read my lines, and it looks like it is a small thing, but because I was new, one could ignore it and ask me to be quick. But Amit ji, he is a senior, but he gave me time and this gesture shows his quality.”
Mukesh Rishi also talked about working with Salman Khan in David Dhawan's ‘Judwa’. He described his work experience with the superstar as “mazedaar”. He shared, “I have got to spend a lot of time with him as we used to exercise together. We would go for walks in the evening when we filmed together. He never kept sitting in his vanity van, he’d meet us at the bar… that is his nature. I really feel it was a mazedaar time because we did a lot of work as well as we also got to know each other. We respect each other immensely. I really enjoyed working on five films with him.”

Mukesh Rishi began his career in 1988 and made his screen debut in 1993 with the film ‘Parampara’, which starred Vinod Khanna and Sunil Dutt. He has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Marathi and Tamil films. He has worked in a number of well-known movies, including Khiladi 420,

Judwaa

, Loafer, Sarfarosh, Sooryavansham, and more. Mukesh was last seen in ‘Before You Die’.
