Folz has reportedly joined the Guinean giants after he left Usuthu at the end of the previous season. The former Marumo Gallants coach also handed his resignation at the Durban-based club, leaving his Technical Advisor position.

As he is set to begin on a clean slate in West Africa, he has lured one of his former colleagues, Fitness Conditioning Coach Chyna Mokaila.

Mokaila, who hails from Botswana, leaves after spending ten months with AmaZulu having joined in October last year alongside ‘Fohloza’.

He confirmed his exit from Usuthu and his appointment at Horoya as the Head Fitness and Strength Conditioning Coach on his social media platforms.

“A journey of a thousand miles. I’m taking this time to officially announce that my time with AmaZulu FC has come to an end,” he wrote on his Facebook account.

“I would like to thank the Chairman and the club at large for giving me the opportunity to be part of this great club. It really has been an awesome experience that came with a lot of growth as a coach. I will forever be grateful.

“I have now joined Horoya AC as their new Head Fitness and Strength Conditioning Coach. I’m looking forward to more Growth and creating more memories with the Guinean Giants.

“It’s go time.”

The duo also worked together at Marumo Gallants and at the Botswana giants Township Rollers.
