The big news from Tuesday in Paris was the injury withdrawal of No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who also won the 2023 French Open, which clears a major obstacle in the top half of the 2024 French Open men’s singles bracket. No. 7 Casper Ruud advances to the semifinals as a result and awaits the Zverev/De Minaur winner.

Zverev sits at No. 4 in the ATP rankings and comes off a singles tournament title at the ATP Masters 1000 Rome on May 19. He started his French Open journey with a win over legend Rafael Nadal and also rolled past David Goffin and won five-set battles over No. 26 Tallon Griekspoor and No. 13 Holger Rune. Meanwhile, De Minaur comes off an upset win over No. 5 Daniil Medvedev and has lost just two sets thus far at the French Open. Zverev and De Minaur have split their two meetings this season.

Zverev and De Minaur are due to square off in the French Open’s men’s singles quarterfinals at 2:15 p.m. ET (8:15 p.m. local) on Tennis Channel. Live streams are available with introductory offers from FuboTV (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial) and SlingTV (free trial).
