This time Talisca is not denied - Otavio finds Angelo with a deft backheel with the former darting inside the box and squaring it to Mane. Mane shoots but his effort his saved by Grohe but the rebound falls straight to Talisca, who lashes the ball inside the net to give his team the lead.

Al Nassr almost takes lead as Mane gets at the end of a cross from the left and guides the ball toward goal with a powerful header. But Grohe matches the header with an excellent save. Talisca had a chance on the follow-up but could not find the target.

That was a short-lived lead for the newly-promoted Al Kholood - Al Nassr makes perfect use from the corner. The cross inside the box is headed by Alawjami to Laporte at the far-post who goes across the face of the goal to find the net with a looping header. Grohe could not do anything about that one.

Muleka times his run to perfection as he is played an excellent through ball through the channels. Making his way into the final third, he finds Maolida with a low pass, whose shot ricochets off Yahya and trickles inside the net. A slice of fortune in that goal but Al Kholood will not mind that one bit.

Al Ghanam has acres of space as he run down the right flank and makes his way inside the Kholood box. He tries to square the ball to a teammate in the centre with a low cross but it is intercepted.

Otavio tries to flick the ball to Mane as the two link up at the edge of the box. Otavio’s pass is intercepted but there was a big penalty shout from the Portuguese. The referee, who has quite close to the action, signals for play to continue.

In Ronaldo’s absence, Talisca will the focal point of all the Al Nassr attacks. Mane, who had started on the left, can play as the second striker at times.
