According to German news outlet BILD, despite having already signed Youssouf Fofana, Milan does not seem to have given up on Manu Konè, who might not just be an alternative to the now former Monaco midfielder.
The Rossoneri are reportedly preparing an offer of 16 million euros, but Borussia Monchengladbach's asking price is said to be set at a fee around 25 million euros, excluding any bonuses.
The gap between offer and demand is significant, but it's not ruled out that an agreement could be reached halfway, perhaps around 20 million euros.
Manu Koné is 23 years old. The Frenchman has a contract with his German club until the summer of 2026. He has made 25 appearances last season with 1717 minutes played in total. He registered two goals and two assists to his name.
