Mia Khalifa's Bianca Censori Message Goes Viral

28 Mar 2024

People have been expressing concern for Kanye West's wife Bianca Censori because she is regularly spotted wearing revealing outfits in public—but Mia Khalifa has come out in her defense.

News of West, who now goes by Ye, and Censori's relationship emerged two months after his divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized. They were first spotted together in January 2023, and soon after, documents obtained by the Daily Mail disclosed that the couple had a private, intimate marriage ceremony.

Censori has been garnering attention lately for her bold fashion choices. She turned heads on March 24 when she made her way to the movie theater at The Grove in Los Angeles in a bright turquoise strapless bodysuit paired with lace tights and white heels. On March 19, she was photographed running some errands while wearing a silver mini skirt paired with a bikini top and bottom.

People online have speculated that it is Ye who decides on Censori's outfits but Khalifa believes Censori has more autonomy than people think.

Newsweek emailed Khalifa and a spokesperson for Censori via a Ye spokesperson for comment on Wednesday.

"BIANCA RUNS THE SHOW AND THE SOONER YALL GET THAT THE SOONER YOULL REALIZE SHEEEEE IS THE SAUCE AND WHEN OTHERS DO IT IT LOOKS LIKE A COSTUME," Khalifa posted to X, formerly Twitter.

At the time of writing, her post had been viewed 1.3 million times.

Khalifa's post was in response to someone drawing comparisons between Censori and Kardashian.

X user @Lauren_Levi reposted a photo of Kardashian wearing an oversized fur coat with nothing underneath but a pair of sheer black tights and pointed shoes.

The X user captioned the post: "Maybe Bianca has more influence than we give her because this is very coded."

When Kardashian uploaded the photo to Instagram on Monday, people immediately began commenting on the similarities between Kardashian's outfit and Censori's new style—including a similar fur jacket and tights outfit Censori wore in February.

"When you are sending a msg to your ex," one person wrote, while another added: "Loooool Kim come on now."

Many reactions were various versions of "It's giving Censori," "Inspired by Censori" or "Kim Censori," along with another social media user, who quipped, "Aw you look like the sister wife."

Not everyone thought that Kardashian was copying Censori's look.

"It's Kim doing Kim," one commenter wrote. "She has always been true to the game."

Kardashian and Censori's fashion sense has been compared ever since Ye exchanged vows with Censori in December 2022. During Ye's relationship with the reality star, he frequently gave her style advice.

"I always thought I had really good style—until I met my husband and he told me that I had the worst style," Kardashian recalled on a 2018 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Four years later, she read an alleged text message from West to sister Kourtney Kardashian on a 2022 episode of The Kardashians.

"The orange look made me so mad. Would've went to jail before I went out in that," Ye allegedly wrote.

Despite rumors circulating about the stability of Kardashian's relationship with Censori, photos on social media depict the pair sharing friendly exchanges as they sat alongside each other at Ye's Vultures listening party. This was the first time the pair had been spotted together in public.
