South Africans were still coming to terms with the death of multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Bulelwa "Zahara" Mkutukana when news broke on Wednesday evening internationally acclaimed Sarafina! creator Mbongeni Ngema had died.
Ngema died in a head-on collision in Lusikisiki, the Eastern Cape, returning from the funeral of Sheila Paris, his brother, Nhlanhla, said in an early morning interview with eNCA on Thursday.
