Someone keep Ramandeep out of the game.KL Rahul is out in the eighth over off the bowling of Harshit Rana, and who is the catcher at deep point but Ramandeep. It's the Ramandeep and Narine show at Ekana Stadium tonight, with LSG struggling to keep touch with their very demanding required rate.
As I'm typing this, Varun Chakravarthy has got Deepak Hooda lbw as well. Marcus Stoinis remains LSG's biggest hope.
Here's Ramandeep taking the first of those catches, btw. The best take of the night.

Narine's first over slaps4 No. of runs Narine conceded off his first over.
After producing the innings of the game so far (81 off 39 if you weren't following), Narine comes in in the powerplay and bowls a banger of a first over. There's a wide in there, but only three runs come off the bat.
LSG are behind the required rate, and have three more Narine overs to face. They've got a mountain to climb.

Ramandeep Singh on fire in the field as well!LSG seemed to have the thrusters on early in their innings, makign 20 off the first 11 balls. But then Ramandeep tracks a high chance back from point, sprinting full tilt then diving full length to get his hands under the ball, which had come off Arshin Kulkarni's leading edge. And KKR have their first.
LSG's first two overs:
Here are our experts breaking down that KKR performance:

Ramandeep finishes strong235 for 6 is what KKR ended up with. It's not terribly far away from the 250 they were headed to, and they certainly have the bowling to make that an incredibly difficult target for the home team.
After an underwhelming start to the death overs, Ramandeep Singh found his range in the 19th and 20th overs, pummeling 25 off 6 balls. Three of the balls he faced he hit for six, one he hit for four, one he scored two off, and off the other he claimed a single.
If you're looking for a rundown of that innings: 2, 6, 1, 6, 4, 6.
Spectacular hitting from your no. 7.

Are LSG pulling it back?9 The scoring rate between the end of over 13 and the end of over 18, when it had been almost 12 beforehand.
KKR had ended the 13th over at 155 for 2, and looked set for a total in the range of 250. But LSG have controlled the innnings better since, taking vital wickets. KKR will be the ones feeling they need a strong finish here, after their blistering start.

Naveen bowls a tidy, wicket-taking overA nine-run 15th over, with the wicket of Andre Russel in the mix? Yah, LSG will take that given the circumstances.
Naveen had looked to go full and wide at Russel, and although the batter had crashed the first ball for four down the ground, and the second one was a wide, Naveen stuck to the plan, and got Russel caught off the top edge just beyond cover (it was a wonderful catch running back from K Gowtham).
Then he gives away just four more runs off the rest of the over. Can LSG fight their way back here?

Narine goes, but Russel continues the hitting3 Narine's position in the tournament run charts after tonight's 81 off 39
Narine lived dangerousouly in the last couple of overs - he could have been caught at long on, but the fielder there overbalanced and stumbled over the rope. He could have been caught at short third, but the fielder couldn't quite hold on as he dived and stretched above his head and to the left.
Eventually he is caught on the point boundary, but through the course of a hugely destructive innings, he's set KKR on course for something epi. And Russel hits a six in his first four balls to suggest he's going to pick up exactly where Narine left off. .

Three Narine sixes off the 11th overEven in the context of this match, which has had a lot of massive overs already, this - bowled by Marcus Stoinis - was a giant one. Narine is in SUBLIME six-hitting form now, and he crashes Marcus Stoinis three times over the legside to send KKR to 129 after 11.

The milestones keep coming- Narine gets to a half century off 27 balls, his third fifty of the season to go with a century. - Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi put on a fifty-run partnership for the second wicket, to follow the half-century opening stand. - KKR make triple figures in the ninth over. - Even as I type this carnage continues

Narine keeps crushing itHe's now blown past 400 runs for the season, and is driving KKR towards triple figures. He bashes Krunal Pandya hiiiigh over deep midwicket for his latest boundary.
Salt is gone, and LSG's life is a little sweeter.
The opening partnership had inflicted plenty of damage, though. They got to 50 in 3.4 overs, and have set KKR on track for a huge score.
Still, LSG will breathe easier now that Naveen-ul-Haq has got KKR's tournament high scorer caught behind off a slower ball. Salt chased a wide one, and only got a light top edge to it.

KKR openers start brightlyPhil Salt and Sunil Narine are the best opening combination of the tournament so far, and Salt has got into a boundary-hitting rhythm already. He's hit 27 off his first 11 balls. With consecutive fours off the last two balls of the third over, Narine has raced into double figures also.
The three overs so far:
First over bowled by Marcus Stoinis.
Second bowled by Mohsin Khan
Third bowled by Naveen-ul-Haq
