NEWS: Legends Day 2024 announced!

Coventry City Football Club and the Coventry City Former Players Association are delighted to announce details of Legends Day 2024!

This year’s Legends Day will take place on Saturday 24th February, when the Sky Blues host Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship at the Coventry Building Society Arena (3pm kick-off).

Fans can expect around 40 former players to join them on the day to enjoy three-course hospitality in the Premier Lounge, with inclusive beer, wine and soft drink pre-match and at half-time plus the chance to meet & mingle with the former players.

A number of popular names are expected to be in attendance on what is always a special day in the Coventry City calendar, with the former players also being introduced onto the pitch to fans at half-time.

As well as spending the afternoon with the Legends, you'll get to enjoy a whole range of benefits which include:

Coventry City’s Chief Commercial Officer Tynan Scope said:

"Thanks to the dedicated work of the Former Players Association and its volunteers, we will be bringing back a variety of players from the Club’s illustrious past and giving Sky Blues fans the opportunity to meet their heroes and enjoy the day alongside them.

"It’s always a very popular day amongst our supporters and one which sells out in hospitality, so we would urge fans to book their place as soon as possible for what will undoubtedly be another fantastic day.”

Jim Brown, chairman of the CCFPA, said:

"We’re looking forward to another successful Legend’s Day and already have a good number of Former Players from all eras planning to attend.

"We’re also going to use Legends Day to help support the John Sillett and George Curtis Statue Appeal too."

Dining will be on shared tables of 10, alongside other supporters. No concession prices or Season Ticket discounts.

HOSPITALITY DRESS CODE

The dress code below applies to all our hospitality areas:

The dress code for our hospitality areas is smart casual. We politely ask that guests refrain from wearing replica shirts, ripped jeans, sportswear (inc tracksuits), hats, caps, flipflops or sliders. Smart jeans, tailored shorts and smart trainers are permitted. Guests may be refused admission or be asked to leave if they do not adhere to the dress code. Any guest that wears a replica shirt under any jacket/coat/jumper etc, gains access to the corporate area and subsequently removes the outer garment will be asked to leave. For children under 12 years, the dress code is relaxed.
