Arsenal vs Chelsea

Two London rivals with drastically differing fortunes meet on Tuesday as Arsenal host Chelsea in the Premier League.

While the Gunners may have lost their footing in the title race, they still find themselves in a position that every London team would kill for, not least a Chelsea side who have not yet mathematically secured their place in the Premier League next season.

Arsenal will relish the chance to extend Chelsea's winless run to nine games, but Frank Lampard and the Blues could do some real apologising to supporters with a good result here.

Here's all you need to know about this one.

Mikel Arteta has already ruled William Saliba out of this game after confessing there has been no improvement in the centre-back's injury.

Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny both remain sidelined with season-ending injuries.

Kai Havertz is back in contention but there will be no sign of Kalidou Koulibaly. The centre-back could be out for the rest of the season alongside Mason Mount, Reece James and Armando Broja.

Left-back Marc Cucurella is also injured and is not expected back for a few weeks.

Chelsea predicted lineup vs Arsenal (4-3-3): Kepa; Chalobah, Fofana, Silva, Chilwell; Fernandez, Kante, Gallagher; Sterling, Felix, Mudryk

Neither of these sides are in particularly good form, and yet there isn't even a debate about which of them comes in as overwhelming favourites.

Arsenal aren't dismantling teams like they used to, but they're scoring goals and causing plenty of problems. Doing so against a historically flimsy Chelsea side should lead them to the comfortable victory they need to keep their title charge alive.

From a Chelsea perspective, even the most optimistic of fans will be bracing themselves for defeat, but supporters will be watching for an improved performance. There are plenty of players who still need to prove they deserve to stay at the club next season, and if they can't get up for this game, then there may not be a place for them for much longer.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea
